Before he was Dr. McDreamy, Patrick Dempsey was nerd Ronald Miller who decided to pay the hottest girl in school $1,000 to pretend to be his girlfriend. He hopes that he will become part of the popular crowd, but ends up finding out what true friendship is really all about. In 2006, Entertainment Weekly compiled their list of the 50 Best High School Movies, and Can’t Buy Me Love came in at number 41.
