You probably wouldn’t believe it, but I have an “Avoid the Noid” magnet on my refrigerator. This loveable little guy was created by Domino’s Pizza, and he would always try to ruin pizza! The Noid was so popular that they even created a video game based on him, called Yo Noid! I think we need to bring the Noid back :)

How in the world did I let this gem just go by me un noticed?

I have often tried to remember the name of the cartoon that had mother brain in it and kid icarus.

Apparently this DVD set came out on February 27th 2007.

The synopsis: The Forces of Chaos, led by the sinister Mother Brain (Metroid), are threatening to conquer the otherwise peaceful universe of Videoland. In a final attempt to fulfill an ancient prophecy, the N-Team - consisting of Princess Lana, Simon Belmont (Castlevania), Kid Icarus, and Mega Man - recruits California teenager Kevin Keene to don the mantle of Captain N: The Game Master! But only as a team can they fend off their rivals successfully, keeping Videoland safe for another day.

I love Uncle Traveling Matt. I was watching Fraggle Rock the other day, and I love the way he explains things that we do. Here is one of his explanations of an elevator:

Transformation Rooms

You probably won’t believe this but I discovered these odd little room that transform people. I watched two of the male Silly Creatures walk into this room, the door was closed and a moment later when they opened again they had turned into ladies! When no one was around I sneaked into the room myself. I could hardly wait to see what changes it would make in me. At first I felt like I was changing, but then the doors opened and low and behold the place had changed!

Ode to Muttley

I love this dog, he cracks me up a lot! My ol man even got a tattoo of him on his arm, you should ask him about it sometime (for those of you who are unfortunate enough to know him anyways)

Muttley does not really talk; his main examples of speech are his trademark snicker—a wheezing, asthmatic laugh (usually made at Dick’s expense)—and a mushy, sotto voce grumble against an unsympathetic or harsh Dick (usually along the lines of “Rassum brassum msblsssl Rick Rastardly!”).

If Muttley was on a cartoon, he always really stole the show in my opinion!

I didn’t realize that The Brave Little Toaster has been around for 20 years. It’s one of my kids’ favorite Disney movies. The story of the little toaster who is out to find his original master - along with his team of appliances - is heartwarming and has great music. The voice cast is pretty terrific, too, led by Jon Lovitz and Phil Hartman.
