I always heard that the Mc Lean burger was made from seaweed. Apparently it was just really lean beef, which was probably too hard for Mc Donalds to come by so they did away with it.

I remember I wanted nothing to do with it because of the seaweed thing!

Sorry that I could not find a picture! If anyone knows where I can find one I would greatly appreciate it! So for you folks I have a picture of Mc Moon Tonight!

A frozen version of Jell-O pudding. A Popsicle with a very thin and crisp outer ice coating and creamy frozen pudding on the inside. Swirl was the best! They have a newer version of these but they are not nearly as good as the original! Some things just cannot be copied.

Healthy living had become a popular concept in the early 1990s, with some focus on a vague notion of purity. Accordingly, Crystal Pepsi was marketed as a “clear alternative” to normal colas. I remember the commercial singing the “Right Now” song. There are still quite a few followers of Crystal Pepsi.

What parent would not adore sugar that can make music? Whistle Pops… a lollipop that is actually a whistle. I loved playing with this candy, it always came with music that you could play on the wrapper.

The lollipops came in different colors, and tastes. Once you ate past the hole in the whistle though, it wouldn’t work anymore!

McDonalds Record

This takes us way back to 1988 - a time where people were too busy trying to get neon nametags to realize that hotel carpeting was probably a healthier Happy Meal than anything McDonald’s could give you. Alas, the Million Dollar Contest.

You’d get a little square vinyl record with the McDonalds song on it - if the song played the full way through, you won a million dollars. In other words, to this day, nobody has ever heard the song in full.
