Thin, flexible plastic sheets can be coloured with felt-tip pens, colored pencils or crayons and cut into shapes. When heated in the oven or with a heat gun, the plastic shrinks into a much smaller, thicker, and more rigid form, while retaining the colored design. I remember having the rainbow brite shrinky dinks, I had a blast with those things!

Super Mario Brothers is the first game I remember playing with any kind of graphics. I spent hours playing this game! Super Mario Bros. is listed in The Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling video game of all time, and was largely responsible for the initial success of the Nintendo Entertainment System.

I dont care who you are, Captain Power owns, infact i still have some comics from way back then. Not many people remember the cartoon at all, but it will always be a classic in my book.
I’m trying to find some other classics to add to the list tonight. Captain Power and his band of soldiers had to take back earth after the metal wars.

Picture Pages, Picture Pages…. Time to get your Picture Pages…. Time to get your crayons And your Pencils!…. Picture Pages, Picture Pages.. Open up your Picture Pages … Time to let Bill Cosby do a Picture Page with you!
That was the theme song to Bill Cosby’s Picture Page show. PicturePages was a short (10-15 minutes, I think) program in which Bill Cosby helped kids with activities in an activity book. You could buy the activity book and play along. I never actually had the activity book, but I know someone who did, and they said that the pen didn’t make the cool sound when you drew with it! What a let down!
