Whammy

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Spinchange gave me an awesome idea for a post in my Noid comments. Do you guys remember the gameshow “Press Your Luck”? I loved this show when I was younger, I would watch it just to see the whammy cartoon come out and make fun of the players! Anyways, I decided that this topic needed a video to go with it. Check it out!

Flash Games

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Gamingtags.com is a great site based on flash games, but covers many more bases such as: console game reviews, hand held reviews, and trailers for any kind of up and coming game! The site itself is really nice to look at, and the webmasters keep it well updated. You can get reviews, downloads, and all sorts of excellent things on this website designed all around games!

Tower Defense is one of the biggest games that this site focuses on. If you play Warcraft Tower Defense, then you definitely need WC3 TD Map. You need to upgrade your towers ASAP!

Whether you are just looking for a different kind of game to play, or want to know some reviews on a game that you would like to play Gamingtags.com is a great site to visit!

Q Bert!

Saturday, March 10th, 2007

I loved sitting there and playing Q Bert for hours upon hours. The basic idea is to hop around the tops of these cubes, changing every square to a specific color (e.g., from blue to yellow). On early levels, this is as simple as a single hop on each square, but later rounds become more challenging: cubes have to be touched twice, cubes change back to the wrong color if they get hopped on again, etc.

Toys!

Bedbugs, I actually owned this game, I HAD to have it (haha).  The bugs (yellow, red, green and blue) were dumped onto the bed and themotor was turned on to shake the bugs. Each player had their own set oftweezers of the color of the bug they were supposed to retrieve.

In 1993 the first videogame version of Doom was released.  Doom was and remains notorious for its high levels of violence, gore, and satanic imagery, which have generated much controversy from a broad range of groups. It has been criticized numerous times by religious organizations for its diabolic undertones and was dubbed a “mass murder simulator.”
