For some reason out of nowhere I got this song stuck in my head. Does anyone actually know who sings it? I would like to download it because it seems like whenever I get these useless songs stuck in my head I need to hear them before they will go away. I always tell people that my brain is just like a useless old radio stations that plays nothing but choruses to old songs over and over again. Let’s Hear it for the Boy!

Another song for my mom to be offended by. The number one song of 1988 was Faith, by George Michael, Whamless this time. I remember all the girls going crazy over those ripped jeans in the video.
Here are the rest of the top 5:
1. Faith, George Michael
2. Need You Tonight, INXS
3. Got My Mind Set On You, George Harrison
4. Never Gonna Give You Up, Rick Astley
5. Sweet Child o’ Mine, Guns ‘n’ Roses

The huge 70s and 80s band Genesis has reformed for a reunion tour, but they will be without their original lead singer Peter Gabriel. He left the British progressive rock group in the mid 1970s and was replaced by the drummer Phil Collins. They both have enjoyed successful solo careers. Gabriel said he didn’t want to make a career move that was looking at the past instead of ahead to the future, and that’s why he didn’t choose to join the reunion.

80s pop star George Michael says he’s sorry for driving while unfit due to prescription medication. He didn’t reveal what medication he was on, but chalked his behavior up to the meds and being too tired. Of course, this isn’t his first brush with the law - there was the “lewd behavior” incident in L.A. in 1998. Did you see “Music and Lyrics” starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore? The group Hugh Grant’s character had belonged to was obviously a knock-off of Wham! - George Michael’s first claim to fame.
