I am in the market for a new laptop because my old one is out of date (of course). I would like one with a bigger screen on it so that I can see my games on there when I play, even though this laptop would be for work. I can not wait to get a new one though, I need speed!

In 1st grade I had my first lunchbox, and I had the pink Lady Lovely Locks sparkley lunchbox. Anyways Lady Lovely Locks was this cute little show, and even cuter dolls. They marketed the dolls as you could put the pixie tails in your own hair. Lady Lovelylocks was the beautiful princess of the Kingdom of Lovelylocks. She and her friends were aided by the Pixietails in keeping the jealous Duchess Ravenwaves and her Comb Gnomes out of trouble. She was a gracious ruler who loved her friends and people in her kingdom.

Thin, flexible plastic sheets can be coloured with felt-tip pens, colored pencils or crayons and cut into shapes. When heated in the oven or with a heat gun, the plastic shrinks into a much smaller, thicker, and more rigid form, while retaining the colored design. I remember having the rainbow brite shrinky dinks, I had a blast with those things!

I had to have a glo worm, as I sit here writing these posts I realize how spoiled I really was to have all of these things that I wanted. I must have been a nightmare on my parent’s budget!
Glo Worm was a stuffed toy for young children, designed by Hasbro Preschool. It was the must-have toy of 1982 and at Christmas sold out almost immediately much like the Tickle Me Elmo phenomenon in 1996. The plush body contained a battery-powered device that, when squeezed, would light up the toy’s vinyl face from within, creating a soft glow.
Since the original toy was such a success Hasbro released a series of story books, night lights, videos and other merchandise that continued until the early 1990’s.
In 1986, Playskool released a number of Glo Worm toy lines that glowed but were made of hard plastic. These were so successful that American fast food chain Wendys in 1989 also released a series of 12 hard plastic Glo Worms to advertise their chain.

I remember collecting so many of these cards, and chewing a lot of really crunchy bubble gum. With all the questioning of violence and children and what not I can not believe they still sell these! They were collectible stickers, and really funny to boot
