“That’s not a knife, this is a knife.” Crocodile Dundee was an Australian film made for a measly budget of $10 million that became a runaway hit in the United States. There were a few changes in the American version, mostly changing Australian slang to more understandable slang for US audiences. Paul Hogan won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for this one. The sequels pretty much suck, but the first one is a comedy classic.
