Before she was Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker had a movie career in the 80s. She starred in Girls Just Want to Have Fun, along with Helen Hunt, future star of Mad About You. In spite of being named after the Cyndi Lauper hit, the soundtrack features a cheesy cover of the title song instead of Lauper’s version.
