My dog is getting a little old. Well, that’s not true. He’s over twelve years old. That’s pretty old for big dogs. He’s a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, so he is a BIG dog. Unfortunately, that means he’s getting something called hip dysplasia, which means that his hips aren’t very strong anymore. He has trouble with tiles because his back legs don’t work so well anymore, and we’re trying to figure out what to do about it. It’s a genetic thing for both breeds, I think. Maybe some glucosamine sulfate? It works for a lot of people I work with. I’ll look into it tomorrow.
