Mark Harmon and Denzel Washington both had early success in their careers with St. Elsewhere. The medical drama has a long history in television. Marcus Welby, Chicago Hope, ER, The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, Quincy, M.E.. Then there are the medical comedies: M*A*S*H, Scrubs, the first and short-lived E/R - which coincidentally starred George Clooney, Nurses. Can you think of any more?
