Robert Duvall stars in Tender Mercies, the story of a country music singer who is recovering from alcoholism. He meets a a widow and befriends her and her son, eventually marrying her and turning his life around. Robert Duvall is fantastic to watch on screen. I think one of my favorite of his roles is in Secondhand Lions.
