I know this is supposed to be one of the best sports movie’s ever, but I found it extremely boring. Of course, Robert Redford is a brilliant actor, so he almost saves it. (Don’t leave a bunch of angry comments, now.) The Natural is a 1984 film adaptation of the 1952 novel of the same name, which is about Roy Hobbs, a pitcher trying to make a come-back after being shot by a crazed fan.
